Breakfast was rich, and the staff always kindly. Rooms were very good, they met needs well. Plenty of options for one night. Setting near Senlikkoy Cami and convenient access to istanbul aquarium...

Although I wrote that I would arrive quite late because of the flight, the room was not prepared and we had to stay in a kind of spare room. Breakfast room is dark and food was not top-up frequently.

The room was clean and the recent renovations were well done.
There was really no restaurant at the location. (Two tables in lobby). We did order and the food was adaquate, but really no place to unwind and relax, Location while close to the airport is still a 15 minute cab ride.

Proximity to airport
No hooks in the bathrooms, no shower doors on the shower so everything gets wet in the bathroom when you take a shower, no place to hang toilet paper so it is not reachable when you on the toilet, no trash can in the room, just a coffee can size one in the bathroom, English is spoken by one person at the desk. (sort of). By no means, was this $120/night room considering the prices of other rooms we stayed in in Istanbul in prime locations. And directions given by Booked.net were unfollowable. We had to pay a taxi to get there.

The hotel was recently renovated. Room was nice, bathroom new and clean. If you don't need to eat or have other meal arrangements I would recommend the hotel.
I was disappointed with the dinner that I ordered. I paid $20 for a small microwaved (reheated) kebab meat and stale flat-bread. It tasted fine, but was obviously not fresh.

Booked.net reports that the hotel is only 1.5km from the airport. That'd be the case if there were no barbed wires between the airport and the area in which the hotel is located. You have to get a ride in the opposite direction and then take right, which makes the distance more like 5kms!
The hotel is located in a residential area. The electricity kept cutting out from the time I checked in in the evening until I fell asleep at 3am. It cut out every 2 minutes and came back on 2 minutes later because the power generator "attempted" to work, after which it would cut out again. Every time the electricity came back on, the phone would ring! It turned out their generator wasn't working properly either and even though they brought maintenance people to repair it, they could not! After 2 hours of this, I asked to be transferred to another hotel and they told me to be patient. After another hour of the same thing, I told them that I wanted to be taken to another hotel again, which is when the staff got very rude with me. My phone kept ringing until the morning because the electricity was being cut out every few minutes. I couldn't unplug it either because I was supposed to get a wake-up call in the morning for an early flight. The entire hotel was dark even though the neighbours' lights were on. It was a nightmare! Never ever stay at this hotel!! Pay a few more bucks and stay at a decent place. I am glad I booked it for only one night. When I checked out at 5am, the same receptionist barely talked to me. He just processed my checkout and did not even wish me a good day.

It located only a short drive from the airport but is in a quiet suburb near the sea front with good restaurants nearby. Nice building and very helpful friendly staff. Much cheaper than other airport hotels but I felt as if I was getting alot more. Very good.
All good.

Clean and tidy with attentive staff. Very comfotable at a decent price. Don't expect an English breakfast, this is Turkey.
